December 8, Director of the Institute of Manuscripts of the League ofArab States Dr. Faisal al-Hafyan visited theInstitute ofOriental Studies named after Z.M.Bunyadov of ANAS. He first met with the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Govhar Bakhshaliyeva.

November 23, the delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic in Azerbaijan Wei Chinhuan visited the Institute of Oriental Studies on behalf Acad. Z.Bunyadov ANAS.

“Modern Turkological studies: problems and perspectives” international scientific conference co-organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies on behalf of Young Scientists and Specialists kicked off at the Main building of ANAS on November 21.

Baku will host an international conference of young Turkologists on November 21-22.

Called "Modern Turkological researches: problems and prospects", the conference is co-organized by the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.
