With the support of Azerbaijani scholars, the book “Grammar of the Iraqi-Turkmen Language” has been published for the first time in Iraq’s history.

Initiated and organized by the Azerbaijan-based Eurasian International Development Association (EIDA), the book was co-authored by Ph.D. in Philosophy, Associate Professor Elnur Mustafayev, Head of Department at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), and Professor Mahmud Khalil Chayirli of Baghdad University. The research was developed through a comparative analysis with the Azerbaijani language and published in partnership with ANAS’s Institute of Oriental Studies and the Baghdad Philosophy Academy.

The Algerian “Al Harir”, Tunisian “Shams-alyaoum”, Mauritanian “tanidmedia.net” and “elmouritany.info” news portals have published an article headlined “Aida Imanguliyeva – a prominent representative of Azerbaijani orientalism and one of the outstanding cultural figures of the 20th century.”

The leadership of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences congratulated Vice President of ANAS, Academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, on her 70th anniversary.

The President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli congratulated Academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva on being awarded the “Shohrat” Order by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated November 25, 2024. He underlined that this award is an expression of high appreciation not only for the jubilarian scholar but also for Azerbaijani scientists as a whole and the National Academy of Sciences.

The scientific seminar on the topic of “The Works of Mahammad Fuzuli in the Context of Eastern Literature,” dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Mahammad Fuzuli was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after Academician Z. Bunyadov.
