The work is devoted to a relatively less-studied period in the history of Persian literature. The book researches some aspects of Persian-language poetry in the XVI-XVII centuries, including Abdi bey Shirazi, Vahshi Bafqi, Muhtasham Kashani and others. The first chapter presents the historical conditions and literary environment of the period studied in Iran and India. The second chapter is dedicated to the life and creative way of the nine poets.
